Todd Rohm

Todd Rohm Todd Rohm is President of Rohm Insurance Agency located in Orange, CA which specializes in construction and real estate insurance and bonds. Todd works with a variety of developers, builders and contractors – ranging in size and scope from single project real estate deals to international firms building projects in California and throughout the United States.

Todd has been in the insurance and surety business since 1982. After working in a marketing position with IBM for several years, he went to work for Fireman’s Fund Bond Department in Dallas, Texas. He later joined Granger-Hanna Insurance Associates and worked with them through a couple of mergers until 1997, when he started Rohm Insurance Agency.

Todd is a former Board Member and past Chairman of the California Surety Federation, which monitors legislative issues dealing with surety bonds in California. He is also a former Director of the National Association of Surety Bond Producers. He has a Bachelors Degree in Economics from the University of Colorado.


Dan Picard

Dan Picard Dan Picard, along with Todd Rohm and Cathy Kennedy, founded Rohm Insurance Agency in 1997. The Agency was formed in part to perpetuate the relationships and clients developed since 1985, when all of the principals began working together at Granger-Hanna Insurance Associates. Through a couple of mergers and acquisitions of GHIA, Dan has been working with the same core group of individuals for nearly 20 years.

Dan is a graduate of Cal State Long Beach and a licensed Fire & Casualty agent in the State of California. He began his surety career with a national insurance company in 1977. Since 1982, Dan has been working with clients in the capacity of Broker/Agent.

Dan is responsible for the management and underwriting of the Bond Department. Dan has extensive experience in working with most government agencies in Southern California, as well as many agencies in Northern California, and throughout the United States. He has an excellent understanding of the three party relationship between the client/principal, surety and owner. This experience is often vital to both the client and the surety to prevent execution of bonds in which the contractual relationship may be onerous, whether it is construction contracts or subdivision agreements. Dan’s expertise ranges from start-up firms to international companies doing business in the USA.


Cathy Kennedy

Cathy Kennedy Cathy Kennedy helped form Rohm Insurance Agency when they began operations in December, 1997. She is an owner of the business, as well as Secretary of the Corporation. She oversees all aspects of the insurance department along with managing assigned accounts. She is responsible for the departments work flow, customer service, marketing, new business, renewals, policy changes, reviewing insurance coverages and policy forms.

Prior to Rohm Insurance Agency, Cathy worked with Todd Rohm and Dan Picard at Granger Hanna Insurance Associates. They began working together in 1987, primarily servicing and advising construction and real estate clients. Through a couple of mergers with HRH and Armstrong/Robitaille, Cathy has been handling many of the same clients over the past 17 years. Before that she lived in Colorado and worked for Western Slope Insurance from 1979 to 1987, an all lines independent agency. Her insurance career started with USF&G Insurance Company in 1975 rating personal lines policies and then went on to rating and assisting underwriting on large commercial accounts.

Cathy holds a California Fire and Casualty insurance license.


Beata Sensi

Beata joined the agency in 1998. Beata is responsible for providing customer service for both insurance and surety clients. Beata has extensive experience in surety, and for the past several years has focused on the assistance of the coordination, monitoring and administrating claims for Rohm Insurance clients.

She began her insurance career in 1993 with Granger-Hanna Insurance Agency in the surety bond department and continued on to Rohm Insurance Agency in 1998, where she is actively involved in the management of insurance claims.

Beata received a B.A. degree in Finance, Real Estate and Law from California Polytechnic University, Pomona in 1993.

Beata completed the NASBP Bond School Level I and II in Houston and continues to expand her knowledge of insurance through numerous continuing education courses.

Beata holds a California Fire and Casualty insurance license and is a Notary Public.


Rhonda Durand

Rhonda joined the agency in 2004. Rhonda is responsible for coordinating, monitoring and administrating claims for Rohm Insurance clients.

Her previous experience includes being a claims manager at a large insurance brokerage/agency and prior to that she was a paralegal for insurance defense firms specializing in Workers’ Compensation and Subrogation.

Rhonda received a B.A. degree in Management and Human Resources from California Polytechnic University, Pomona and received her Paralegal Certification from UCI. She has obtained her Associate in Claims designation and also attends various seminars to stay current with the changes in the insurance industry.

Rhonda holds a California Fire and Casualty insurance license.


Diana Morales

Diana joined the agency in 2005. She began her career in the insurance industry in 1993. Diana is responsible for all aspects of certificate issuance for our clients. She reviews all contracts and subcontracts for insurance specifications.

Diana works directly with our customer service team to ensure we meet our clients insurance needs.

Diana holds a California Fire and Casualty insurance license and earned her CISR (Certified Insurance Service Representative) designation from The National Alliance for Insurance Education.


Cheryl Thomas

Cheryl joined the Agency in 2007. She began her career in the insurance industry in 1977 and has extensive experience in accounting.

Cheryl is responsible for all aspects of the agency accounting and provides support to both our insurance and bond clients, as well as, monitoring and coordinating agency licensing and IT activities.

Cheryl received a B.A. degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and is currently working on her CRIS (Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist) designation.

Cheryl holds a California Fire & Casualty insurance license and is a Notary Public.
